Abu Dhabi, UAE, October 2, 2016: Dome Exhibitions and EUROVENT in partnership with Euroexpo and the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) will host the Climate Technology 2030 Forum scheduled during Climate Expo Abu Dhabi 2016 - October 3-5 at ADNEC.
The inaugural edition of Climate Expo Abu Dhabi 2016, organised by Dome Exhibitions and Euroexpo, is dedicated to the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) industry. Eurovent, the International Association for Indoor Climate (HVAC) manufacturers, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) will conduct the seminar titled ‘Climate Technology 2030 Forum’ to highlight the latest and upcoming technological developments regarding HVAC; Process Cooling and Food Cold Chain Technologies.
Eurovent, a HVAC industry key player and contributor since 1958, propelled the European Union to become the world’s most forward-thinking region for energy efficiency and environmental protection. QCC, a national entity established to augment Abu Dhabi’s quality of exports and locally traded products.
The Forum, set for two days, commences on October 3 in Hall 1 within the Eurovent conference area. It will feature a series of forward-thinking seminars, MEP consultants, contractors, designers, planners, energy managers, public policy makers and members of the general public interested in the industry.
Furthermore, the Forum is in line with Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 ‘Creating a sustainable Emirate that protects resources for current and future generations’. Moreover, the Forum will provide much needed in-depth analysis and valuable insight about evolving energy efficiency and clean technology markets. It will target topics such as lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) and natural refrigerant alternatives, the latest measures to reduce F-gas emissions, developments in legislation and standards in the GCC region and beyond, ways to effectively refurbish and maintain existing products and new technological solutions for the construction project pertaining to the 2030 vision.
Morten Schmelzer, Director Business Development and Strategic Relations at Eurovent, said: “With the demand for air conditioning and refrigeration registering in record numbers, the energy landscape is reflecting dramatic changes worldwide. The implications of these changes are particularly relevant to the UAE and wider GCC region; which are experiencing substantial economic growth and unprecedented urban expansion – allowing for greater demand on resources. In hosting the Climate Technology 2030 Forum, Climate Expo Abu Dhabi 2016, seeks to place a renewed focus on the need to optimise HVAC systems to achieve lower energy consumption, lower operating costs and minimal impact on the environment.”
Climate Expo Abu Dhabi 2016, the latest joint initiative by Dome Exhibitions & Euroexpo, is aimed to initiate dialogue about the new range of eco-friendly products, to highlight energy efficiency and to accentuate environment sustainability.
Furthermore, Climate Expo Abu Dhabi 2016 will draw the participation of L.G, UTC Carrier, Daikin, Trane, Petra Engineering, Emicool, Bluestar, Systemair, Baltimore Air Coils, Mitsubishi Electric and many more. Invitees include 5,000 industry specialists, high-level decision makers and experts from world leading industry associations such as the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturer’s Association (ISKID).
The exhibition will enjoy support of key national entities like ADNEC and Federation of UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
