Land Rover Supports Brand Enthusiast and Adventure Seeker ProjectOverLandy on Expedition to Rediscover Jordan

Dubai, UAE, August 6, 2016:  As part of its MYLAND (Ardhi in Arabic) creative communications platform, Land Rover Middle East and North Africa will be following Land Rover fan and adventure aficionado Zaid Siwady, the man behind ProjectOverLandy, as he sets off in a Land Rover LR4 on a nine day expedition to visit some of Jordan’s most iconic locations. 

Siwady, a Jordanian expat living in the UAE, jumped at the chance to travel back to his homeland and trace some of Jordan’s most stunning sites in the highly capable and versatile Land Rover LR4.

An overlanding and camping enthusiast his entire life, Zaid was raised in a family that instilled in him a love of outdoor adventures from a very young age. With a passion for the Land Rover brand, he set up ProjectOverLandy to document the numerous excursions in his Land Rover vehicles across the region through breath-taking aerial views of his experiences.

Commenting on the upcoming expedition, Zaid Siwady said: “My current playground spans the UAE and Oman where I go exploring on a weekly basis in my Land Rover Defender. I am extremely lucky to be part of a region that is so rich in culture, heritage and beauty. It is truly exciting to see my passion for the outdoors lead me back to my land where I will be able to tackle striking on-road and off-road terrains in the Land Rover LR4.”

He continued: “I look forward to beginning this adventure with Land Rover and I hope that by capturing my journey I will be able to showcase some of the historical landscapes, archeological landmarks and hidden gems Jordan has to offer.”

Departing from Amman on August 5th, ProjectOverLandy will explore and document his nine day expedition as he visits locations across Jordan including Jerash, Amra Castle, the Dead Sea, Petra and Aqaba.
