Dubai, UAE, June 26, 2016: Four winners from Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah have been presented with cheques totalling one school semester’s fees following their participation in Al Nabooda Automobiles’ Passat test drive raffle in malls across the Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Parents were able to register at stands located in malls across the Emirates during March and April.
Mohammed Farook, whose son attends Delhi Private school was ecstatic to win a fee of AED20,000.
He said: “This is the first time I have won something and it feels great. I want to personally thank Volkswagen for this opportunity. Usually cash prizes are given for competitions and it’s wonderful to see a company invest in people’s education.”
Additionally, those who participated in a survey conducted at the stands were given a voucher for the Volkswagen Passat worth AED3,000.
“This competition was a first of its kind for Volkswagen in the region, we wanted to give something back to our community in a meaningful way,” said Thierry Seys, General Manager, Al Nabooda Automobiles, Volkswagen.
“We understand that school fees can burden parents sometimes and there has been a wonderful atmosphere delivering the good news to the winning families.”
