THE BEACH to Host Performances of Arab Singing Sensations at 2-day ‘Jalsat Al Shateh'

• Walid El Shami, Dalia Mubarak, Fahad Al Kubaisi and Dunia Batma to Headline Acts at Seaside Destination
Dubai-UAE: 14 March, 2016 – THE BEACH, the upbeat outdoor destination by Meraas, is gearing up to host a gala celebration of local pop music and Khaleeji rhythms ‘Jalsat Al Shateh’. Spread over two evenings on 15 and 16 March, the musical extravaganza will include the performances of top-billed artists from the region.
Moroccan singer Dunia Batma will entertain visitors on day one. Batma gained widespread recognition as runner-up of the Arab Idol reality show in its first season. Sharing the stage the same evening will be Iraqi singer and composer Walid El Shami who has to his credit hits such as ‘Ana Asli’ and ‘Aheba Kullesh’, composed in collaboration with leading artists and songwriters in the region.
Day two of the event will see Saudi songstress Dalia Mubarak rendering her leading singles Qalabat El Tawlah and Fareg an Al Nas. Acclaimed Qatari performer Fahad Al Kubaisi whose distinct Khaleeji sounds have gained him a wide fan following across the region spanning more than a decade will also present his signature ‘La Tatezer’ and ‘Battalna’.
Visitors can attend the concerts free of charge or gain front stage access with tickets priced at AED 350, available for purchase at Pots, Pans and Boards at THE BEACH on both days.
