Language Learning Basics: Supporting Your Child in Learning Multiple Languages

Can infants and toddlers learn more than one language at a time? Is exposing your young child to two languages simultaneously a benefit or a hindrance? How can you tell if your child’s language is on target or delayed? These and other questions regarding early language acquisition will be explored through a dialogue between early childhood experts at the parenting talk titled ‘Language Learning Basics: Supporting Your Child in Learning Multiple Languages.’

Hosted by the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation the talk will present practical information derived from the latest research and offer tips for supporting a young child’s language development, including learning more than one language at a time.
