~ Third of four ODIs to be played on November 17 in Sharjah ~

Sharjah, 16 November 2015: The 3rd ODI between Pakistan and England at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium to be held tomorrow is sure to be a cracker, as the series currently stands leveled with a win for each team.

This ODI is part of an ongoing series between the two nations comprising a 3-match test series and a 4-match ODI series with matches played in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. On the eve of the 3rd ODI, Pakistan's skipper Azhar Ali spoke to the media about his team's preparations for this crucial match which could be a big morale booster for the winning team.

Talking about the team's morale and preparations for tomorrow's match, Pakistan's skipper Azhar Ali, said, “Although the pitch generally here helps the spinners to an extent, there is not too much in it for the bowlers as the boundaries are also short. Yes, we have been trying different opening combinations due to injuries and other problems. We also do not have a very good record in ODIs, but we have many young players in the team now and we will back them as much as possible to give them the right opportunities. They have enough talent and once they blossom, they will serve Pakistan for a long time.

What is important for us presently is to learn from our mistakes in the last two matches and move forward. Yes, we didn't play aggressive cricket in the last match, we didn't put enough pressure on the English bowlers, however, we will like to play more positive cricket tomorrow. Yasir bowled very well in the first match and on a pitch where 280 was a gettable score he restricted England's scores much below that. We are hoping both of them will deliver in tomorrow's match as well”, he added.
