Kris Fade Releases Second Collaboration With Rapping Sensation Two Tone

* New single ‘I Woke Up Like This’ goes on global release on 15th November 2015 

Dubai. Sunday 15th November 2015:  Award winning Virgin Radio DJ Kris Fade is back with another single featuring Number One selling Moroccan hip hop artist and close friend, Two Tone. After the success of “In It For Love”, which stayed at No1 on the iTunes Middle East chart for 6 weeks in early 2015, the boys are back with another catchy and infectious tune “I Woke Up Like This”. 

“I Woke Up Like This” will make its debut on Virgin Radio and will be released across the region exclusively on iTunes Middle East and on Worldwide iTunes on 15th November.  

Commenting on the overall theme for his new single, Kris Fade says, ”I wanted to create a track that encapsulated the current mood of the generation.  ‘I Woke Up Like This’ is catchy, humorous and can mean different things to different people. As a guy who is used to waking up extremely early every day and in various states of dishevel depending on how early I slept the night before, I wanted to have some fun with this and invite my listeners to do the same and of course, I couldn’t resist giving Kanye a mention!”

After the success of “In It For Love”, which not only stormed the charts, but also saw Kris Fade and Two Tone play to packed audiences at RedFestDXB and as the opening act at the much anticipated Drake concert, the long, hot summer saw the boys head back into studio to plan their next collaboration. Whilst Kris was on summer leave and Two Tone was based in his studio in Ibiza during his European tour, the duo played around with new tracks and “I Woke Up Like That” was the result.  Two Tone, not only collaborated on writing and of course performing on the single, but also produced it. 

“It’s been really cool working with Kris again on this single and we hope that the public enjoy listening to it as much as they did with ‘In It For Love’. The song has a great beat and very relevant tracks for the current generation’s mood and pace, so we’re looking forward to seeing people getting excited when it comes on the radio, at a house party or remixed by resident DJ’s at one of Dubai’s incredible beach clubs.
