The Dubai Courts' Leadership Council registers in MBR Smart Majlis

Dubai, October 28, 2015: H.E. Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director General of Dubai Courts, and the Leadership Council of Corporate Development and Innovation including heads of courts and managers of departments at Dubai Courts have registered in “ Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Majlis”. It is largest smart and integrated platform in Dubai connecting 30 entities that will receive suggestions, comments, and ideas of the public 24/7, and to conduct smart brainstorming sessions on it.
The initiative of Director General of Dubai Courts and the Leadership Council came in line with directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, who said “Today, in the era of smart city, the smart Majlis is a platform dedicated to receive the innovative ideas and comments, and further allows everyone in Dubai to contribute to enhancing leadership of Dubai in various sectors and fields.” It is also part of Dubai Courts’ contribution to make Dubai the world’ smartest city and the fastest developed.
It also comes to implement ideas of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid that seek to achieve certain objectives like enhancement of communication between him and all segments of the society, and to open the way for all to provide creative ideas and comments. The smart Majlis will help to discuss different issues. This will enrich the development process effectively by a collective participation. The imitative adopts a number of pillars that focus on the collective thinking in various development fields, and the effective follow-up of ideas and observations. It comes form the belief in the value of ideas and their impact, and the need to promote the concept of thinking outside the box.
Al Mansouri stressed on that the Dubai Courts and its entire staff are keen to be first supports of Sheikh Mohammed’s vision, and working effectively to support the development that needs contribution of everyone. The brilliant idea combined the traditional shape of the Majlis with the modern technology to allow everyone in Dubai and its fans around the world to contribute to the development process 24/7. Ideas are not exclusive to a chosen few, as much as they are not limited to a specific period of time
The Director General of Dubai Courts praised the new initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and his launch of the Smart Majlis, that aims to improve quality of life in Dubai to become the world’ smartest city. It further goes in line with Dubai’s plan-2021 that seeks to make government of Dubai a leading, proactive and creative entity in meeting needs of individuals and society.
He also said that the initiative is consistent with the national strategy of innovation adopted by the UAE, which aims to make it one of the most innovate countries in the world. It further provided the opportunity to receive feedbacks and innovative ideas to be applied to serve and benefit all who live in the country whether in the present or the future, Al Mansouri added.
He also pointed out that the diversity in the channels of communication between the people and the leadership allows the effective participation of all society segments in the decision making process and optimal use of different experiences. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid is keen to elicit ideas from their owners, and work to turn it into reality, in order to improve the quality of people's lives and enhance comfort and provide prosperity for all.
He also explained that a teamwork has been entrusted at Dubai Courts to follow up the relevant ideas and comments. He said “We will strive to optimally benefit from all which is presented to the Dubai Courts work, and harness the ideas to serve the judicial work in Dubai, to benefit the customers and society, Dubai Courts is constantly keen to provide all what contributes to the happiness of the clients and meeting their needs”
