gasworld announces first line-up of speakers for Midde East and North Africa Industrial Gas Conference

gasworld has announced the first line-up of speakers for its Middle East and North Africa Industrial Gas Conference taking place in Dubai from the 7th to 9th of December.

Titled Today’s Vision – Tomorrow’s Reality, the conference will look at emerging trends within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) industrial gases business, exploring the opportunities and growth drivers ahead – and the technologies required to realise this potential. Particular emphasis will be given to the merchant gases business in the region.

Speakers already confirmed include keynote speaker Tom Blades, Member of the Executive Board at The Linde Group, who will be speaking about the potential of the Homecare markets in the Middle East. Mr Blades will be speaking on Day one of the event.

The morning session will concentrate on developments within the Middle East Industrial Gas sector. In addition to Mr. Blades, gasworld’s Business Analyst James Barr will be giving an in-depth assessment of the merchant industrial gases market and it’s potential.

There will also be a dedicated session on safety on the first day which is being sponsored by The Middle East Industrial Gases Association (MEGA). The session will address safety standards within the region and how these can be raised together. Confirmed speakers include Elie ADAIMY, Head of Technology Centre MEA Zone at Air Liquide, and Natarajan Suresh, Group Operations Manager Gulf Cryo, Dubai.

Day two of the conference will follow on from day one’s themes, looking at Merchant Markets, Jan Vansant, Independent Consultant at Coldjet, will be speaking in depth on Merchant CO2 Applications.

There will also be a special commercially focused session. Speakers within this section include Michael Blondin from VRV, Keith Stewart from Herose, Savir Julka from INOXCVA and Tony Melhuish from Hale Hamilton.
