Trading Enterprises completes First Responders Extrication training program for Dubai Police Search and Rescue team

Dubai, UAE, August 09, 2015: Trading Enterprises, part of Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, has successfully completed First Responders Extrication training for 42 members of the Dubai Police Search and Rescue team.
Four sessions were held over two days covering Product Knowledge, Safety Features, Components Location and Systems Isolation for automotive brands represented by Trading Enterprises including Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Volvo in addition to dealing with High Voltage Electrical operated cars like Fisker.
Mohammed Maktari, Managing Director of Trading Enterprises said, “We are extremely happy to host members of the Dubai Police Search and Rescue team. The training session was organized with the objective of providing product knowledge and safety awareness when dealing with brands represented by Trading Enterprises. We received extremely positive feedback and look forward to assisting the team in any way we can.”
Lt. Colonel Juma Bin Darwish, Director of Search & Rescue Department at Dubai Police said, “Our team is generally the first to arrive at the scene of an accident and the first few minutes are extremely crucial and can make the difference between life and death. It is very important that the team is educated on the different components of the various automotive brands in order to ensure that the rescue is carried out quickly and safely. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank Trading Enterprises for their cooperation and the successful completion of the training course.”
Trading Enterprises owns the sole distribution rights for Volvo, Chrysler, Dodge and RAM in the UAE. The Al-Futtaim Group Company also holds exclusive distribution rights for Jeep in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
