Borders launches a new concept known as “Indian Interest”

Almaya Group opened its first Borders’s store in Dubai, Mall of Emirates in 2006, which quickly became the leading Knowledge and Entertainment chain in Dubai.  Borders has become a popular place  in the United Arab Emirates as it offers a large number of book titles in English and Arabic in various categories such as fiction, business, travel, cooking, children’s magazines, newspapers, stationery and toys & games items as well as featuring seating areas for readers.

To continue Border’s mission as a preferred place for knowledge and entertainment throughout the Gulf region, we are launching a new concept known as “Indian Interest”. This category will consist of books of Indian fiction, nonfiction, cooking and biographies of famous Indian personalities.

Borders Ibn Battuta will have the privilege of welcoming HE Consul General Of India Mr. Anurag Bhushan to launch the Indian Interest Section said Mr Kamal Vachani, Group Director, Al Maya Group.
