Decathlon New Range of Fitness Equipment

Decathlon is a major French-based sporting goods retailer operating hundreds of stores worldwide and serving 100 million customers every year. The start was with a shop near Lille, France in 1976 then, in the 1990s, Decathlon expansion covered the rest of Europe.

December 2010 witnessed the launch of the first Decathlon store in the Middle East at the Mirdif City Centre in Dubai. 10.12.10 marked the mega opening of the largest sports store in the Middle East encompassing a full range of sports’ offerings from outfits to accessories, equipments to footwear, all under one roof.

Following the ‘all sports in one store’ promise, the store covers an area over thousands of square meters where all sports’ kits and apparatus are available: basketball, football, and cricket as well as archery, scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding, golf, hiking, hunting, swimming, and all other sports.
