Fresh Crop at Harvey Nichols - Dubai

Another series of talented Dubai-based designers lands in-store

Harvey Nichols – Dubai welcomes the second phase of Local and Regional Designers featuring an exciting mix of Dubai’s design talent featuring collections that are fresh, fun and perfect for the transition into the AW15 season.

The second phase of the Local and Regional Designers Pop-Up will feature carefully curated collections from Zayan the Label, Dinz, Deborah Henning and BEDOUIN. The temporary boutique, which launches on August 16th, 2015, will bring the cool, casual and contemporary essence of Dubai’s burgeoning art and design industry into Harvey Nichols – Dubai.

Zayan the Label
Zayan the Label is designer Zayan Ghandour’s contemporary ready-to-wear line featuring signature hand-embroidered motifs and prints, innovative cuts and modern silhouettes. A decidedly feminine spirit infuses every collection through the dainty use of a signature narrative, an unexpected design twist or a bright pop of colour where you least expect it. Every season, a tale of love and light is unraveled, and the delight is always in the detail.

Dinz
Founded by self-proclaimed fashion-addict sisters, Dina and Rima Zahran, Dinz is a label that is known for its fun, quirky aesthetic. Consisting of bold yet easy-to-wear pieces that can be worn day to night, Dinz is made to cater to the sophisticated, modern woman who does not compromise on style despite leading a hectic life; fabulous and fun in every way!

Deborah Henning
The Deborah Henning label creates a beautiful mix of playful, androgynous womenswear, which is based on the concept of casual perfection. The British born, Dubai-based designer was named as “One to Watch” by vogue.com when she presented her capsule collection in London. Her collections, which use the highest quality fabrics, are known for their impeccable fit and detailing, and strike the perfect balance between style and comfort, making them must-have items for any wardrobe.

BEDOUIN
Central Saint Martins’ graduate, Andraya Farrag is the curator and designer behind the BEDOUIN label, which will be available exclusively at Harvey Nichols - Dubai.  The brand’s “less is more” approach is shaped by the beautiful nomadic existence of the Bedouin tribes whose memorable details have not been forgotten. Endurance & adaptability are vital to the Bedouin lifestyle, therefore creating versatile pieces that will stand the test of time is fundamental to BEDOUIN’s design philosophy.
