Jay Z Brings House Down at Yasalam After-Race Concert

The international music superstar performed to capacity crowd of over 37,000 at du Arena on Yas Island exclusively for race ticket holders

On same evening, Rap legend Ludacris headlined the free Beats on the Beach festival stage along with Ciara, Mohammed Assaf and Salma Rashid on the Abu Dhabi Corniche with a crowd of 40,000.

Abu Dhabi, UAE – November 2nd, 2013:  International music star and one of world's most influential entertainers, JAY Z, put on an incredible performance as he headlined the second Yasalam After-Race Concert last night at the du Arena on Yas Island. Performing to a capacity crowd of race fans as part of his hugely successful Magna Carter World Tour, JAY Z was on top form as he delighted the crowd of over 37,000 fans with his mega-hits including “Holy Grail”, “Empire State of Mind” and “Run This Town”.

JAY Z was also joined on stage by a surprise special guest, renowned American record producer, songwriter and rapper Timbaland, following their smash collaboration on Jay Z's new album Magna Carta…Holy Grail.

At the same time over at Beats on the Beach Festival on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, rap legend Ludacris headlined a stellar lineup of international and rising Arab stars which featured American pop starlet Ciara, Arab Idol winner Mohammad Assaf and runner up Salma Rachid, as well as groups Beat Antenna and Bull Funk Zoo, in front of 40,000 fans.
