The Role JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE Overall responsibility to ensure Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and lighting systems are maintained and upgraded as required for Mesaieed.? Responsible to initiate and follow up on the necessary improvement HVAC and Lighting Projects.?? KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Routine Duties Ensure Preventive Maintenance of all HVAC / Lighting equipment is performed and report issues to the superintendent Carry out all assessment of job plan including JSA, review and acknowledge drawings, understands recommendations, review spares. Implement routine and unplanned maintenance activities in compliance with Life Critical Procedures, Tenets of Operations, plant policies and procedures, Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). Ensure that equipment maintenance / overhauling of specific equipment are in accordance with all relevant standard maintenance procedure, Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) manual to facilitate maximum reliability, availability and safety of the equipment. Ensure that the spares parts used are maintained and available.? Coordinate with ERG, production, safety, technical departments from reliability, QA /QC point of view related to mechanical. Act as the Designated Site Representative (DSR) for applicable contractors to ensure the safety of the contractor on site. Takes initiative to identify and implement areas for improvement in HVAC & Lighting. Support emergency planned SD’s and TA related maintenance activities. Lead troubleshooting efforts and recommend solutions and efforts to identify and resolve the root cause of failures /incidents.? Review preventive / Corrective maintenance (PM/CM) checklists as required. Implement and complete follow up action items from Action tracker/ Reliability improvement team recommendations / QSAFE action items in timely manner. Identify spare parts requirements / material required for equipment overhauling / repairs. Use SAP functionality to plan and execute the scheduled jobs. Take part in Internal/External & field audits as assigned and to complete audit action items before due dates. Inspect incoming equipment spares / material in material warehouse by using of relevant technical document like OEM manual/drawing etc. Support project teams on reviewing HVAC and light projects designs / drawings.?? Act as DSR and/or Project Owner for these projects as required. Conduct daily toolbox meetings as required.? ? 4.2 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of Maintenance Department’s systems, policies, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international leading practices’ in order to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Section to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services. Share the safety aspects of the organization like safety alerts, circulars, policy changes and medical circulars. Adhere to and follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Tenets of Operation. Understand the concept of Proactive safety and take personal responsibility to eliminate at risk behaviours and conditions in order to positively contribute to overall goal of zero incidents. Understand the Q-Safe process and actively participates in accordance with expectations. Actively Participate toolbox meetings and MSCM meetings as required. Reporting Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards. Follow up metrics for employee safety performance and to achieve departmental KPI. Qatarization Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education Required: 2 years Diploma of relevant field. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant Technical degree. Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience in HVAC. Preferred: Experience in Petrochemicals Industry Languages Required: English- proficient. Preferred?:Arabic- working knowledge WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal Production Department, Technical Department, Facilities Management, ERG, Projects, HSE Departments, Materials Department, Commercial Group External Vendors, Contractors, and Subcontractors
