The Role Supervise and monitor site activities related to tunnel construction, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Coordinate with subcontractors, site teams, and consultants to ensure timely execution of works Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications Monitor project progress and report on daily activities, delays, and issues Assist in planning and sequencing of construction activities to meet project timelines Ensure quality control procedures are followed and inspections are carried out as per project requirements Support the preparation of method statements, work permits, and risk assessments Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with the engineering team Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records of site activities Coordinate material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce allocation on site
Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 510 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with strong exposure to tunnel construction Proven experience working with main contractors on large-scale projects Strong knowledge of tunnel construction methods (e.g., NATM, TBM preferred) Familiarity with site execution, construction sequencing, and technical coordination Good understanding of HSE standards and quality control procedures Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
