The Role We are seeking a skilled Senior Windows System Administrator to oversee and manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and operational workloads. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Windows system administration, AD, Exchange, security best practices, and infrastructure optimization to ensure a stable and efficient IT environment. • Windows Server Administration: Maintain, configure, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022). • Microsoft systems Management: Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policies (GPO), MS Exchange and CA. • Cloud & Hybrid Integration: Work with Azure Active Directory (AAD), Microsoft 365, hybrid identity. • Network Services: Configure and manage DNS, DHCP, and other core network services to ensure seamless connectivity and efficient name resolution. • Knowledge of Virtual environment Administration: Install, configure, manage backups/restores, and ensure high availability. • Security & Compliance: Implement security hardening, access control policies, patching, and compliance measures to safeguard systems and data. • Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve issues using Windows tools, MS SCCM and third-party solutions (AD Mange Engine). • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain server and database backup and recovery strategies using tools like Veeam, Windows Backup, SQL Server native backup, or third-party solutions. • Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency. • Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure, systems configurations, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator in enterprise IT environments, with proven Microsoft systems and infrastructure administration experience, in addition to virtualization and cloud platform management and administration. • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or MCSE (preferred).
