The Role We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing safe, efficient, and cost-effective structures for a variety of projects within the UAE. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a rapidly growing market. Responsibilities: - Analyze and design structural components and systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. - Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to develop project specifications and drawings. - Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases. - Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and documentation for design proposals and permitting processes. - Use engineering software for modeling and structural analysis to deliver optimized solutions. - Identify potential risks and provide viable engineering solutions to mitigate them. - Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and innovations to enhance design efficacy.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field. - Professional license or certification as a Structural Engineer preferred. - Proven experience in structural design and analysis within the UAE or similar markets. - Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards such as Eurocodes, ACI, or local UAE standards. - Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to work on-site as required and travel for project inspections.
