They specialize in large-scale, high-impact projects, including high-rise residential towers, luxury hotels, and other monumental constructions Description * Oversee the construction of high-rise buildings and hotel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality control processes. * Manage the day-to-day operations at the project site, ensuring the efficient coordination of resources, contractors, and subcontractors. * Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related technical issues and liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants. * Provide technical direction and supervision to the engineering team on-site. * Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards. * Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, addressing potential delays or issues on time. * Review and approve material and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documents. * Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior engineers and site staff. Requirements A successful Senior Resident Engineer should have: * Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry, including 5+ years in Dubai. * Proven experience with high-rise buildings (30+ floors) and hotel construction projects in Dubai or similar environments. * Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred). * A Dubai Engineer license is required (Unlimited License). * Strong understanding of local construction codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai. * Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. * Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines without compromising quality
