Housewives relish ‘Kenwood Cooking Show' as Ramadan nears

JEDDAH – For the fourth year in a row, the much-anticipated live “Kenwood Cooking Show” organized by its exclusive agent in Saudi Arabia Ahmed Abdulwahed Co., reaps tremendous success.

This year's cooking exhibition in the Kingdom by the world's leading company in food processing machines witnessed once again international Lebanese Chef Richard El-Khoury showing off his mouthwatering culinary skills in various shows in major Saudi cities. It has kicked off in Riyadh where food lovers and housewives flocked and cherished the new ideas and skills they've learned in food preparation and culinary art using Kenwood appliances.  El-Khoury will then go to Dammam and Jeddah to captivate the audience with his food mastery.

The ongoing show is live on Hashtag #kenwoodksalive were relevant questions can be asked. In the process, valuable gifts await the lucky winners.

Chef El-Khoury will demonstrate his culinary skills with the aid of Kenwood appliances in Jeddah for three consecutive days. The first is at Arab Mall on July 5, followed by a stint at Serafi Mall the next day and at Andalus Mall on July 7.

Commenting on the cooking extravaganza, Sales Manager of Kenwood for Home Appliances in Saudi Arabia, Fadi Tarabay said: 'As the holy month of Ramadan approaches and families in Saudi Arabia are preparing for it with gusto, we anticipate high demand on electric home appliances, especially on Kenwood food processing machines for their high-efficiency and durability, notwithstanding the ease and comfort these appliances provide housewives in food preparation and cooking.”

Chef El-Khoury talked highly of the ongoing event, and said 'the cooking festival of this year is amazing. This year, a number of the audience participated in preparation of some dishes and were given the opportunity to practically test Kenwood appliances and their performance.'

The cooking roadshow also served as an opportunity for Kenwood to showcase some of the latest in a wide collection of electric food processors, notably the 'Kenwood Cooking Chef' and other machines for blending, mixing, and chopping vegetables and meat, as well as juicers, ice cream making machines, bread roasters, and many other machines which make food preparation simple, easy and fast.
