Sharjah, March 31, 2021: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), on Tuesday, held a coordination meeting with the representative committee of shopping malls business group and representatives of concerned government bodies to review the promotional plan and the different activities the SCCI will organize during the 31st edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, which will kick off on 13 April and lasts until 15 May.
The meeting discussed means of providing the necessary facilities and resources to ensure the success of the festival and the accompanying promotional campaigns. It also outlined the discount rate that will be offered and the recreational events that will be organized during the event.
Chaired by Jamal Bu Zinjal, General Coordinator of the Festival, the meeting was held in the presence of Hana Al Suwaidi, Assistant General Coordinator of the Festival, and representatives of concerned government institutions and shopping malls.
During the meeting, the SCCI highlighted the facilities and benefits that will be provided to participating shops and malls, in addition to its plan for promoting the event, which includes marketing campaigns in all media outlets to shed light on the deals offered by the stores, besides outdoor billboards in various cities of the emirate and social media campaigns.
Supporting retail sector
Jamal Bu Zinjal shed light on the success of the 1st and 2nd editions of the exceptional campaign “Sharjah Shopping Promotions” which was launched by the SCCI to support and boost the sales of the retail sector and bring happiness and joy to Sharjah residents and visitors.
He underlined that this success was the reason behind the relaunching of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, pointing to the importance of the event in stimulating the economic activity and supporting the business community in Sharjah.
Perfect opportunity
Hana Al Suwaidi stressed that the Chamber will do whatever it takes to bring success to this family event through the promotion of the offers and deals of the participating malls and shops and the provision of all the necessary support.
She urged those wishing to participate to register with the chamber without delay so that they can get the most out of the huge facilities it offers, especially with the expected economic buoyancy during Ramadan, which represents a perfect opportunity for shops and malls to showcase their products and increase their sales.
