We hope that it will assist in reintegrating them into the society by helping them enter the labor market and provide a steady source of income that they can rely on to fulfill their daily life requirements.”
“At L’Oréal, we believe that everyone can be a change-maker. ‘Beauty For a Better Life’ program was founded in 2009 with 2 simple beliefs that education is the freedom to choose and build one’s own future, and beauty professions positively impact motivation, self-confidence, foster creativity and motivate individuals to take on new challenges,” said Thierry Houssin, Managing Director, L'Oréal Middle East.
Building on the solid partnership between DFWAC and L’Oréal Middle East and the success of the pilot, the aim will be to carry-out a minimum of two Makeup Artistry Training courses per year. “To fulfill the L’Oréal Foundation’s ambition of providing the opportunity of access to work for 20,000 beneficiaries by 2020, we plan to extend the program locally to cover all types of beauty specialization including hair, nail and skin care,” added Houssin.
