Dr. Al Awar discusses HBMSU's role in shaping the future of higher education at GEF 2016

UAE, March 2, 2015- Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), has joined leading regional and international speakers at the Global Education Forum 2016 (GEF 2016) which kicked off under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the forum was held under the theme ‘Innovation in Education through Creativity and Knowledge Sharing.’ During the session, Dr. Al Awar delivered a presentation titled ‘HBMSU and Shaping the Future of Higher Education’ to underscore the university’s competitive advantage and leadership in the Arab World.
Dr. Al Awar said: “HBMSU has successfully made a positive imprint on higher education industry in line with the vision and directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU, towards encouraging innovation across the education sector, bolstering excellence in research and knowledge transfer, and attracting intellectual resources to promote economic development in the UAE and the Arab World. HBMSU’s adoption of an innovative approach to keep up with technological progress has enabled the university to help reshape the future of higher education through creative methods. Such a move will build modern communities that are able to keep pace with the fast-evolving needs of the 21st century.”
