The Role OVERVIEW Position Graphic Designer and Content Creator Department Marketing / Creative Reports to Marketing Manager / Club Management Location Bahrain About Company & Role Purpose A leading sports and community club is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer and Content Creator to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing marketing materials and developing engaging content across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency and effective communication. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES General • Develop engaging and relevant content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, potentially others), including text posts, image captions, interactive stories, and short-form videos. • Write compelling website content, including news articles, event updates, player profiles, sponsorship announcements, and community highlights. • Capture high-quality photographic and video content at club events, matches, training sessions, and community gatherings. • Edit and optimize multimedia content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with branding and audience engagement strategies. • Assist in developing, executing, and monitoring content calendars and social media strategies to maximize reach and engagement. • Stay current with design trends and conduct research to inspire and inform creative projects. • Work closely with club management to align communication goals and translate them into impactful visual and written content.
Requirements BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. • 6-7 years of professional experience in graphic design and content creation, ideally in a sports or community setting. • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). • Video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie) are a strong advantage. Skills: • Strong creative and visual storytelling abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized and a strong multi-tasker. • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects. • Attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Photography and videography skills are an advantage.
