The Role Position Title: Import Manager - Retail Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 18,000 AED inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: JAFZA, UAE About the Client: A Dubai-based enterprise, with a continuously growing portfolio of various industries including luxury fashion, couture accessories, and lifestyle brands across UAE and International countries Job Description: -Manage the complete import and inbound logistics process, from supplier shipment coordination through customs clearance and final warehouse delivery. -Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement. -Monitor inbound shipments, ETD/ETA, vessel schedules, delays, and delivery status, ensuring timely delivery to warehouses or distribution centers. -Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import procedures, while managing import documentation and resolving customs/clearance issues.
Requirements Qualifications: -Open to all nationalities, aged 40 years and below, with 5+ years of experience in import and inbound logistics, preferably within fashion retail, manufacturing, or distribution. -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. -Strong hands-on experience in international imports, inbound shipments, customs clearance, freight forwarding, import documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and international shipping. -Good knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and MS Excel; international import and inbound logistics experience is an added advantage.
