The Role Job Summary As a Showroom Assistant, the role is required to unpack, pack, and place products to display standards, keep the showroom spotless and fully merchandised throughout the trading day, and personally see customers to their vehicles with their purchases. The role requires close alignment with the Replenishment and Visual Merchandising teams, ensuring to keep every product in the right place at the right time always maintaining the brand standards. Key Responsibilities • Pack and unpack products for customer purchases and showroom display — every item must be checked and presentation-ready before it reaches the floor. • Deliver cash & carry purchases to nearby locations — the parking area, taxi pick-up point safely, promptly and within the approved showroom distance, creating a strong final impression with every hand-off. • Dust and clean displayed products throughout the shift so every item looks brand-new and ready to buy. • Arrange products on the showroom floor and in the back store (stockroom) to keep displays sharp and stock easy to find, move and replenish. • Handle heavy and delicate merchandise in line with safety measures to avoid any hazards on the shop floor. • Communicate clearly and positively with team members at all times to avoid any lapses in terms of stock movements and customer requests. • Greet every customer cordially, setting a friendly, welcoming tone from the moment they walk in. • Carry a genuine smile through every interaction and delivery as youre often the last face the customer sees.
Requirements Job Specifications: • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail, showroom, or customer-facing sales support roles (freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered). • Good English speaking skills is preferred. • Prior experience in product handling, stock replenishment or visual merchandising is an added advantage. • Must be physically fit as the role requires lifting, loading and off-loading heavy products. • Experience in lifting, moving, or handling retail products safely. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with minimal supervision.
