The Role Job Description We are seeking skilled and experienced Block & Plaster Masons to perform blockwork, plastering, and related masonry activities at construction sites in the United Arab Emirates. The candidate will be responsible for completing masonry works accurately and safely in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and site HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities • Construct block walls, partitions, and other masonry structures as per approved drawings. • Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other required surfaces. • Ensure proper line, level, alignment, thickness, and finishing. • Read and follow construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions. • Prepare and clean surfaces before plastering. • Carry out patching, repairs, and finishing works as required. • Check completed work for quality and rectify defects. • Handle masonry materials, tools, and equipment safely. • Follow project quality control procedures and construction standards. Comply with UAE site HSE requirements and properly use PPE. • Maintain good housekeeping and keep the work area safe and organized. • Report material requirements, defects, or site issues to the Foreman/Supervisor. • Perform other related masonry duties assigned by the Site Supervisor or Foreman.
Requirements • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant masonry experience. • Education/Certification: Masonry Trade Certificate preferred. • Good knowledge of blockwork, plastering, mortar preparation, and finishing. • Ability to understand and follow basic construction drawings and site instructions. • Knowledge of construction site safety and PPE requirements. • Ability to use basic masonry tools and equipment. • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction environments. • Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills. • UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
