The Role
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong roads and transportation engineering foundation, combined with contemporary mobility experience and proven project leadership capability. The ideal candidate will bring practical experience in road infrastructure, transportation systems, mobility initiatives, and technical project delivery. This role is suited to a technically strong professional who can take ownership of initiatives, work effectively with consultants and contractors, and drive projects from concept through design and operational implementation. We are looking for someone who is proactive, solutions-oriented, and delivery-focused, rather than primarily focused on project coordination or administration. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical expertise across roads, transportation infrastructure, and mobility projects. • Review and provide technical input on road and mobility designs, scopes of work, consultant submissions, and contractor deliverables. • Support the development and implementation of mobility initiatives, from concept and planning through design and operational delivery. • Assess road infrastructure and provide recommendations relating to design, operations, performance, and technical requirements. • Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, operators, internal stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams. • Contribute to traffic engineering, road safety, parking, signage, wayfinding, and related transportation infrastructure initiatives. • Lead assigned projects and initiatives, taking end-to-end ownership of deliverables, actions, timelines, and outcomes. • Identify issues, determine appropriate solutions, proactively follow up with stakeholders, and escalate matters when required. • Manage multiple workstreams, establish priorities, track dependencies, and ensure commitments are progressed through to completion. • Prepare technical reports, analysis, recommendations, presentations, and management updates. • Translate complex technical issues into clear, practical recommendations for management and key stakeholders. • Identify opportunities to improve mobility, infrastructure performance, safety, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline. • Strong practical experience in roads and transportation engineering. • Experience with road infrastructure design, operations, assessment, and technical review. • Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering mobility and transportation initiatives. • Knowledge of traffic engineering, road safety, parking, signage, and wayfinding is advantageous. • Experience working with consultants, contractors, operators, and multidisciplinary stakeholders. • Strong technical writing, analytical, communication, and reporting skills. • Demonstrated project leadership and ownership, with the ability to independently drive initiatives forward. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. • A proactive and accountable delivery mindset, with a demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes with minimal supervision. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, actions, and dependencies effectively. Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a technically strong Civil/Transportation Engineer who combines sound roads engineering knowledge with modern mobility expertise and strong project leadership. They should be comfortable taking ownership, challenging technical issues, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and driving initiatives through to successful completion. Candidates whose experience is primarily administrative or project coordination, without a strong technical roads/transportation foundation, are unlikely to be suitable.
