The Role
We are looking for a Senior Landscape Engineer to lead and manage landscape operations and maintenance across large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments. The role will focus on ensuring high standards of landscape quality, safety, sustainability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily landscape maintenance and operations, including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, water features, lighting, and outdoor facilities. • Develop annual maintenance plans, budgets, KPIs, and resource requirements. • Manage and mentor landscape teams, contractors, and service providers. • Monitor service quality and ensure agreed SLAs and KPIs are achieved. • Oversee emergency response for issues such as storm damage, irrigation failures, tree falls, and flooding. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, environmental regulations, and local authority standards. • Manage RFPs, procurement, contractor selection, and contract performance. • Conduct landscape condition assessments and identify areas for improvement. • Develop and implement landscape enhancement and improvement plans. • Promote sustainable practices such as smart irrigation, native planting, water conservation, and biodiversity. • Coordinate with clients, tenants, consultants, authorities, and internal teams. • Prepare reports, budgets, performance reviews, and management recommendations.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or Facility Management. • 10–15+ years of experience in landscape management. • Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, or hospitality developments. • Strong leadership, budgeting, contract management, and stakeholder management skills. • Knowledge of landscape maintenance, irrigation, horticulture, and hardscape. • Experience managing in-house teams and external contractors. • Knowledge of sustainability and modern landscape technologies. • CLP, PMP, CFM, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
