The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Bridge Maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge projects, with strong expertise in both bridge design and construction/execution. The role involves managing bridge inspection, maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair activities while ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities 1) Lead and supervise bridge maintenance, repair, strengthening, and rehabilitation works. 2) Review, prepare, and validate bridge design calculations, drawings, and technical reports. 3) Conduct bridge condition assessments, inspections, and structural evaluations. 4) Develop maintenance strategies and recommend repair methodologies for existing bridge structures. 5) Manage site execution activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. 6) Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities. 7) Monitor project schedules, resource allocation, progress, and budget performance. 8) Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and junior engineers. 9) Identify structural defects and propose practical engineering solutions. 10) Ensure all works are executed in accordance with local regulations, project requirements, and industry best practices. 11) Prepare technical reports, method statements, work plans, and project documentation.
Requirements 1) Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 2) Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge engineering projects. 3) Proven experience in both bridge design and construction/execution works. 4) Experience in bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, strengthening, and repair projects. 5) Strong knowledge of bridge structures, inspection techniques, and maintenance methodologies. 6) Proficiency in engineering design software and Microsoft Office applications. 7) Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills. 8) Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks effectively. 9) Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory).
