Job Description: Main Accountabilities The position is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System in the company. The position is responsible to train and create employee awareness to implement safe working methodologies and behavioral practices at all levels in the organization, including to Facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive HSE training program for all employees on assigned project / operational location;Identify and communicate HSE training opportunities aimed at improving HSE performance to HSE Manager. Detailed Job Description: - Support the implementation of HSE elements of the Integrated Management System (IMS). - To assist with development and implementation of the HSE Training plan; - To prepare the HSE Induction Training Package for review by HSE Management; - To conduct all HSE Inductions; - To ensure all new Inductees are issued with ID badges (where applicable); - To identify HSE training opportunities and provide feedback to HSE management; - To update and maintain all contemporary records related to HSE Training; - To prepare HSE Training reports for submission to HSE Manager, as required; - To prepare task specific HSE Training packages for review by HSE Management; - To conduct field based HSE Trainings as directed by H & S Management; - To ensure that all training materials are compliant with legislative requirements; - To undertake periodic reviews of all training materials; - To facilitate translation of HSE related documents into languages appropriate to the workforce as required; - To assist with generation and maintenance of HSE associated contemporary records; - To participate in Internal Audits or external audits conducted by Third-party certification body as required; - To assist with the training and development of subcontractor HSE staff as required; - To report all HSE related incidents to HSE Management; - To assist with the investigation of HSE related incidents as required.
Requirements Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in HSE or equivalent from an accredited University. - Professional Certification: Should hold NEBOSH certificate as a minimum. UAE Driving License for light vehicle is mandatory - Specialized knowledge: preferably in Waste Management industry Required Skills: Communication skills, organizational skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, management and leadership skills Computer Skills: Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet, etc.) Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with at least 2 years in the waste management industry.
