The Role We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. This role involves managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring value for money while meeting quality standards. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation. - Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects. - Manage procurement processes and negotiate with suppliers and contractors. - Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget. - Carry out risk and value management throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related issues. - Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts for management. - Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in construction costing.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. - Proven 10 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor Engineer within the construction industry. - Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in the UAE. - Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of UAE construction laws and standards is highly desirable.
