The Role Manage and oversee all civil construction activities at the project site. Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within established timelines. Prepare and update project schedules, work programs, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and quality standards. Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. Monitor material requirements, procurement schedules, and site resources. Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship standards are maintained. Identify technical issues and implement effective engineering solutions. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. Manage project costs and assist in budget control and cost optimization. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates to management and clients. Verify quantities, prepare progress claims, and support project documentation and reporting. Assist in project handover, snagging, and close-out activities.
Requirements Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in building construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and engineering standards. Experience in reinforced concrete structures, finishing works, and MEP coordination. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and/or MS Project. Familiarity with quality management and construction safety practices. Project Planning & Scheduling.
