The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Cost Controller to join our dynamic production team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the Cost Control department by monitoring project budgets, analyzing cost data, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to optimize production expenses. Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets and forecasts to ensure cost efficiency. - Track and analyze project expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. - Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to gather and validate cost data. - Support the preparation of monthly cost reports and financial statements related to production activities. - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and compliance. - Assist in developing cost control procedures and best practices to improve processes. - Provide timely updates on budget performance and cost trends to stakeholders.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. - Previous experience in cost control, finance, or accounting within production or manufacturing environments is preferred. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with cost management software. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of financial reporting standards and budgeting principles. - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
