The Role Role : Camp Boss Location: UAE (Onsite) Industry: Construction (Preferred) Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Camp Boss to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple workforce accommodation camps in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large multicultural workforces, ensuring employee welfare, maintaining accommodation standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. The role requires regular camp inspections, coordination with site teams and service providers, and effective handling of employee concerns. Key Responsibilities • Manage the overall operations of one or multiple labour accommodation camps. • Ensure camps are clean, safe, hygienic, and compliant with company policies and UAE regulations. • Conduct regular inspections of accommodation facilities, kitchens, dining areas, and recreational spaces. • Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues. • Supervise housekeeping, security, catering, and other camp service providers. • Monitor occupancy, room allocation, and accommodation records. • Address employee accommodation concerns and resolve day-to-day issues promptly. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and sanitation standards. • Coordinate transportation, utilities, and essential camp services. • Maintain inventory of camp assets, supplies, and consumables. • Prepare camp reports, inspection records, and incident documentation. • Liaise with HR, Administration, Site Management, and external vendors to ensure smooth camp operations. • Conduct routine visits to multiple camps as required.
Requirements • Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing labour camps or workforce accommodation in the UAE or GCC. • Experience handling large multicultural workforces, preferably within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of labour accommodation management, welfare standards, and camp administration. • Familiarity with UAE health, safety, hygiene, and accommodation regulations. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple camps and prioritize operational requirements. • Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. • Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and record management.
