We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Engineer to join our high-speed rail tunneling project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in selecting, testing, and managing materials to ensure the safety, durability, and efficiency of our construction processes, contributing directly to this landmark infrastructure development. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement material testing procedures to ensure quality standards are met. - Collaborate with design and construction teams to select appropriate materials for tunneling works. - Perform analysis on material properties and provide recommendations for improvement. - Monitor material usage and optimize procurement to maintain project budgets. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications. - Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to material tests and inspections. - Address any material-related issues promptly to avoid construction delays. - Stay updated with the latest material technologies and industry best practices relevant to tunneling and high-speed rail construction.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience working in material engineering within large-scale construction projects, preferably tunneling or rail infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and quality assurance standards. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in the UAE. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
