The Role Role Purpose The Project Manager - Core Banking will lead and manage implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects related to the banks Core Banking System. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle Core Banking projects including implementation, migration, upgrade, and integration initiatives. Collaborate with Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage relationships with vendors and system integrators supporting Core Banking solutions such as Temenos T24, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, and similar platforms. Oversee system configuration, SIT, UAT, data migration, and production go-live activities. Ensure compliance with Qatar Central Bank regulations and internal governance standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Provide regular project status updates to senior management and steering committees. Drive change management initiatives and support user adoption across business units. Maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with PMO standards.
Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred. ITIL or Agile certification is an added advantage. Experience 10+ years of project management experience within banking or financial services. Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing Core Banking implementation, migration, or upgrade projects. Hands-on experience with Core Banking platforms such as Temenos T24, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, or similar. Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
