The Role About the Role A leading bank in Qatar is looking for an experienced AML System Specialist to support and enhance its Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and Treasury technology landscape. The role requires strong expertise in banking applications, AML transaction monitoring systems, Treasury platforms, and integration with enterprise banking systems. Key Responsibilities Act as the IT consultant for Compliance-related applications and projects. Analyze and document business and technical requirements. Coordinate with business teams, vendors, and IT teams throughout project lifecycles. Conduct SIT and support UAT activities. Manage project documentation including BRDs, architecture diagrams, and user manuals. Support AML transaction monitoring and screening systems. Support Treasury systems and related integrations. Participate in technical design discussions, system enhancements, and vendor evaluations. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of compliance-related applications
Requirements Required Qualifications & Experience 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Banking IT applications. Strong understanding of AML/CFT systems including: Transaction Monitoring Sanctions Screening Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Case Management Strong Treasury Systems knowledge. Experience with banking integrations involving Core Banking, SWIFT, Payments, Data Warehouses, and Middleware.
