• Site Supervision & Construction Management: Lead the resident engineering team and site inspectors to oversee all construction activities for building structures and civil infrastructure works on-site. • Contract Administration & FIDIC: Administer construction contracts utilizing FIDIC conditions of contract, evaluating contractor claims, managing variations, issuing site instructions, and maintaining comprehensive correspondence logs. • Authorities & Statutory Liaison: Interface directly with local municipal departments, utility providers, and statutory authorities to secure necessary site permits, inspections, and final operational clearances. • Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC): Monitor contractor quality control procedures, review material submittals, inspect workmanship, and ensure strict adherence to approved drawings and specifications. • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce rigorous site safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with local environmental and occupational health regulations. • Stakeholder Coordination: Lead regular site progress meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical clashes, address site delays, and report on construction status.

Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 8 to 12 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 4 to 6 years serving in a Resident Engineer or senior site supervision role within an engineering consultancy environment. • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or local engineering council registration is required. • Contractual & Regulatory Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience administering FIDIC forms of contract and managing approvals, NOCs, and inspections with local government authorities. • Technical Knowledge: Extensive background in construction methodologies for buildings and infrastructure, including deep foundations, structural concrete/steel, and wet/dry utility installations. • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong on-site decision-making skills, and exceptional conflict resolution and communication management for contractor-client relations.
