The Role Position Title: Business Central Application Specialist Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 18,000 AED inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE About the Client: A Dubai-based enterprise, with a continuously growing portfolio of various industries including luxury fashion, couture accessories, and lifestyle brands across UAE and International countries. Job Description: • Own day-to-day technical support of Business Central across our entities: troubleshoot posting issues, integration errors, permission problems, and data questions, and see them through to resolution. • Develop and maintain AL extensions following Microsofts development guidelines and AppSource-grade best practices: event subscribers over base app changes, proper object structure, clean upgrade paths. • Use AI tooling as a core part of how you work: AI-assisted coding for AL development, BC Copilot features, and AI agents where they genuinely reduce effort. • Support and monitor our integration landscape: WMS interfaces, the Shopify, and others. Investigate failed messages, trace root causes, and propose fixes rather than workarounds. Manage environment hygiene: sandbox refreshes, extension deployments, telemetry review, Feature Management, and preparation for BC major version upgrades.
Requirements Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV with recent BC cloud experience) in a technical or techno-functional role, with strong knowledge of AL development, system configuration, and implementation. • Proven experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, along with familiarity with Azure DevOps and GIT for source control and work item management. • Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse, within a Business Central environment. • Experience in the fashion industry is required, with Microsoft certifications such as MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant) and/or AL Developer credentials preferred.
