The Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mining Engineer with a background in mining infrastructure and excavation projects to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising mining infrastructure works, supporting excavation activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. - Plan, coordinate, and oversee mining infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. - Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for infrastructure works. - Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements. - Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve engineering and construction issues. - Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation. - Review project schedules and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and minimise delays. - Ensure infrastructure works comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company procedures. - Support the planning and execution of infrastructure projects while maintaining cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining engineering field. - Strong knowledge of mining operations, planning, and safety practices. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
