The Role
Working within the remit of a growing, federal government entity in Abu Dhabi, this is a fast-paced environment offering the successful applicant a superb career trajectory. Working in a close-knit office of approximately 20 individuals, you will provide 1:1 support to the General Manager and manage all the internal relationships within the office and significant external relationships with VVIP Government officials and industry leaders. Providing effective gatekeeping to the GM’s office, you will understand the protocol that will need to be applied to these meetings and the hierarchy involved. There will be significant project work, research and report writing for the GM and you will be the point of contact for all communication, preparing written agendas, sharing written minutes of meetings and ensuring full tracking of projects against timelines and budgets. Additionally, as you coordinate all the management of office activities, this will include HSE procedures, and you will enroll in safety tours and ensure standards are in compliance with the requirements of ISO regulations. There is considerable written and research work, hence our client is seeking excellent communication skills in English and Arabic as well as strong MS Office skills. Complex diary and travel management are a large part of the role, coupled with event management in terms of arranging conferences and seminars. You will exercise discretion as you will be privy to highly confidential information and you will be a strong decision maker. Ideally candidates will hold a degree in Administration, or related field and demonstrate a stable career history, preferably in the energy or corporate sector. This is an exciting role and will provide growth and stability for the right candidate within the government sector.

Requirements
