The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Engineer to join our dynamic civil and construction team in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee contract processes ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with project goals. This role is pivotal in supporting successful project delivery through effective contract administration and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities: - Review and prepare contract documents ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. - Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. - Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and closure. - Monitor contract performance and report on compliance, milestones, and deliverables. - Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and procurement to resolve contract-related issues. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts to protect company interests. - Maintain accurate and organized contract records for audit and reference. - Support claims management and dispute resolution processes as required.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Proven experience as a Contracts Engineer or similar role within the civil and construction industry. - Strong knowledge of contract law and construction industry regulations in the UAE. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. - Proficient in contract management software and MS Office applications. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
