The Role Electrical Engineer – Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer from an industrial construction background to join their team in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Overseeing the electrical engineering design works for large-scale industrial buildings and power plant construction • Reviewing and advising on technical specifications of the electrical equipment, and ensuring the constructability of design packages • Coordinating with the construction teams • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets • Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and regulations
Requirements PROFILE • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering • At least 12 years of experience in similar roles on industrial or power construction projects • Experienced in the design of electrical equipment for large-scale building complexes • Strong familiarity with electrical safety codes and regulations in the GCC region • Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office • Excellent communication skills in English • First preference will be given to candidates currently in Qatar APPLICATION PROCESS If you fulfil all of the key criteria for this position, then please formally submit your CV along with your current financial package details for the attention of Francis Ryan to middle.east@linumconsult.com If you fulfil all the criteria stipulated, you will be contacted within 10 days.
