The Role Instrumentation Engineer – Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Instrumentation Engineer from an industrial construction background to join their team in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Using the technical specification of the Customer, the Company’s basic design and reference documents, you will develop the requisition design for the Instrumentation & Control Systems for an industrial construction project • Managing the documentation for field instruments selection, specification and installation • Basic design of cable routing and coordinating with external agencies or draftsmen for the detailed design • Collaborating with team members and management to address any technical issues and suggesting solutions
Requirements PROFILE • 12 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering on industrial buildings or energy construction projects • Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from a reputable university • Ability to work autonomously on Instrumentation and Control engineering activities in Oil & Gas applications • Familiarity of C&I International Codes • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English • Candidates currently based in Qatar will be given first preference APPLICATION PROCESS If you fulfil all of the key criteria for this position, then please formally submit your CV along with your current financial package details for the attention of Francis Ryan on middle.east@linumconsult.com If you fulfil all the criteria stipulated, you will be contacted within 7-10 days.
