The Role We are seeking a Technical Project Manager – HPC/AI to supervise, coordinate, and manage a portfolio of medium- to large-scale technology projects focused on AI/ML platforms, high-performance computing, data management, and software/platform delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent workstreams, coordinating internal engineering teams, interfacing with executive stakeholders and subject matter experts, and ensuring disciplined delivery across scope, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations. This role is ideal for a structured, proactive, and technically conversant project manager who can operate in a fast-paced enterprise environment and coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements * Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent technical project workstreams across AI/ML platforms, HPC-related systems, software delivery, and data management initiatives. * Oversee project execution across approximately 5–6 active workstreams, coordinating with a delivery organization of 30+ engineers. * Serve as the primary coordination point between internal engineering teams, executives, subject matter experts, and technical stakeholders. * Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, risk registers, and status reports. * Track scope, timelines, deliverables, issues, risks, resource allocation, and change requests across all assigned workstreams. * Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies where applicable, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking. * Ensure clear communication of project status, blockers, risks, decisions, and escalation items to senior stakeholders. * Coordinate requirements gathering, technical discussions, acceptance criteria, testing, documentation, deployment planning, and handover activities. * Support project governance through regular reporting, steering committee preparation, stakeholder updates, and executive-level summaries. * Work closely with engineering leads to ensure deliverables are completed on time, aligned with requirements, and meet quality expectations. * Drive accountability across teams while maintaining a collaborative and professional delivery environment. * Support continuous improvement of delivery processes, project documentation, reporting standards, and team coordination practices. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field. * 2–3+ years of experience in technical project management, project coordination, delivery management, or a similar role. * Experience coordinating software, platform, data, infrastructure, AI/ML, or enterprise technology projects. * Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and project management practices. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methods. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong documentation, planning, reporting, and organizational skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. * Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, specifically Khobar, Dhahran, or Dammam. Preferred Qualifications * Prior exposure to AI/ML platforms, HPC environments, data platforms, or large-scale technical delivery programs. * Experience working with engineering teams on complex software or platform delivery initiatives. * Understanding of data management concepts, workflows, and enterprise data platforms. * Prior experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, data engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or AI/ML. * Experience preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, steering committee materials, and project governance documentation. * PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, ITIL, cloud, data, or technical certifications are a plus. * Saudi nationals are preferred. This person does not need to be a hands-on engineer, but should have enough technical understanding to coordinate discussions, identify delivery risks, follow technical dependencies, and communicate effectively with engineers, SMEs, and leadership.
