The Role JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE Ensure planned activities within maintenance domain executed on a timely manner with high efficiency and better utilization of time and resources.? KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES People Management Monitor & review the activities and work performed by maintenance crew and contractor to ensure that it is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, in line with the business plans, and company policies and procedures. Ensure that Contractors comply with all company policies, procedures, Standard Maintenance Procedures and Daily Instructions during routine Maintenance and Unit shutdowns. Follow up with contractors during TA’s to ensure the safe execution and the completion of the tasks on time.?? Routine Dutes Prepare Routine and Shutdown maintenance execution schedules in micro level, monitor completion of the work carried out and forecasts activities. Assess and detail the job steps, resource requirement and Estimate duration & cost. Prepare with Maintenance and Operations group a work process logic showing clear sequence of various activities from equipment handed over to maintenance to put back in service. Ability to do resource loading and levelling and project the final resource requirement. Carry out schedule updating and issue various look-ahead schedules as required. Able to carry out delay analysis and recommend the catch-up/recovery plans. Able to identify and track critical path activities to achieve scheduled completion of activities. Must be able to produce various progress metrics and reports including S-Curve. Planning and system support for Shutdown activities through close liaison with the Shutdown Team, Maintenance and Operations group. Able to identify the risk involved in each job, plan mitigation and incorporate them in the schedule. Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment. Co-ordinate with vendors, Contractors, other service providers to get inputs for scheduling. Ability to lead scheduling team and co-ordinate activities.? ? KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of Maintenance Department’s systems, policies, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international leading practices’ in order to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Section to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services. Share the safety aspects of the organization like safety alerts, circulars, policy changes and medical circulars. Adhere to and follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Tenets of Operation. Understand the concept of Proactive safety and take personal responsibility to eliminate at risk behaviours and conditions in order to positively contribute to overall goal of zero incidents. Understand the Q-Safe process and actively participates in accordance with expectations. Actively Participate toolbox meetings and MSCM meetings as required. Reporting Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies, and standards. Follow up metrics for employee safety performance and to achieve departmental KPI. Qatarization Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. Requirements KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Education Required:?Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering. Experience Required: 5-7 years of experience in Planning / Scheduling.? Preferred: Experience in Petrochemical Industry.? Languages Required:?English- proficient. Preferred: Arabic- working knowledge WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Internal Production Department, Technical Department, Facilities Management, ERG, Projects, HSE Departments, Materials Department, Commercial Group External Vendors, Contractors, and Subcontractors
