The Role Job Description • Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, seating, and building rapport with guests in a warm and professional manner • Present menus, communicate daily specials, answer inquiries, and provide detailed food and beverage recommendations including potential allergens • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay details promptly to kitchen staff • Serve food and beverages according to established sequences and service standards • Up-sell food, beverages, and additional products to enhance guest experience and drive revenue • Prepare and maintain tables, including linens, silverware, glassware, and overall dining area cleanliness • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues promptly • Handle guest complaints and inquiries courteously, ensuring full resolution • Assist with bar operations including inventory management, beverage storage, stock replenishment, and glass polishing • Perform cashiering duties including processing payments, verifying cash and credit cards, and adhering to Finance department policies • Assist in outlet setup and decoration during special promotions or events • Attend pre-shift meetings to review daily specials, menu changes, and reservation requirements • Comply with all health, hygiene, safety, and fire regulations at all times • Maintain high standards of personal presentation, punctuality, and grooming
Requirements Job Requirements • SMARTSERVE certification required • Valid Food Handler Certification • Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant setting • Proficiency with POS and Micros computer systems • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and coffee • Familiarity with current local and international F&B industry trends • Basic proficiency in Arabic preferred • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest engagement skills • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
