The Role Job Summary: To establish engineering capability to support and complement the main contracting business and manage the day to day organisation of the engineering Department, co-ordinating activities of direct resources, Subcontractors, Suppliers in an appropriate way with, Safety, Health and Environmental Quality objectives as the priority. Operational Responsibilities: Assist the estimation team during tendering stage and manage the review of awarded project designs, preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, and coordinated service drawings for clash analysis. Identify project scope, quantify work, track long-lead items, and secure required NOCs through RTA and DEWA portals. Ensure constructability, timely submission of drawings & submittals, compliance with project standards while supervising draughtsmen and coordinating with authorities, clients, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors. Address technical and design issues affecting cost or schedule, participate in progress meetings, prepare as-built drawings in accordance with authority requirements, support project handover, and maintain strong relationships with clients, engineers, and regulatory authorities. Compliance Anti Bribery Commitment Responsibilities: Read, understand, adhere, and comply with the information contained within the Colas Middle East Rules of Conduct, Colas Middle East Policies, and with any training or other anti-bribery and corruption information given by the Management. Requirements Essential Qualifications: * Civil Engineering Degree, * Professional Qualification or Membership, * Valid UAE Driving License. Experience / Achievements: * Minimum 10 years experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects, * Previous experience with RTA & other Dubai Authorities is desirable.
