The Role
Our client is is a Dubai based well established and trusted vehicle export company, helping customers export vehicles worldwide with premium vehicles, competitive pricing, reliable shipping support, and a smooth buying experience. Due to their success they are now looking for a Vehicle Procurement Specialist. Job Purpose To lead end-to-end vehicle sourcing and procurement activities across local and international markets. The role is responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities, negotiating purchase terms, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a cost-effective and well-stocked vehicle inventory that supports our clients sales and export operations. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Sourcing & Acquisition • Source and procure vehicles across multiple channels including auctions, dealer networks, fleet disposals, and direct sellers. • Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities in local (UAE/GCC) and international markets (Europe, USA, Asia, Africa). • Assess vehicle condition, specifications, mileage, and market demand prior to committing to purchases. • Ensure the procurement pipeline is aligned with sales demand, stock targets, and business requirements. Negotiation & Commercial Management • Negotiate purchase prices, payment terms, and deal structures to maximise margins and profitability. • Manage procurement budgets and ensure all purchases are within approved financial parameters. • Evaluate and compare multiple sourcing options before making acquisition decisions. Supplier & Auction Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with auction houses, dealers, fleet companies, and private sellers. • Maintain a centralised and up-to-date supplier/vendor database. • Monitor supplier performance, reliability, and competitiveness on an ongoing basis. Logistics & Compliance Coordination • Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery and complete documentation. • Ensure all procurement activities comply with UAE import/export regulations, customs procedures, and RTA requirements. • Manage vehicle title transfers, customs clearance documentation, and registration processes. Inventory & Market Intelligence • Monitor inventory levels, stock aging, and vehicle turnover to inform procurement decisions. • Track market pricing trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns across key vehicle segments. • Prepare regular procurement reports, stock summaries, and performance dashboards for management. • Lead and drive process improvement initiatives within the procurement function, applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.

Requirements
Skills & Competencies Functional Skills • Strong vehicle valuation, sourcing, and procurement expertise • In-depth knowledge of GCC and international automotive markets • Experience with vehicle auctions (Copart, Manheim, or regional equivalents) • Understanding of UAE customs, import/export regulations, and RTA registration processes • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management tools • Solid commercial acumen and cost-management skills • Process improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies Behavioral Competencies • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy • High ownership, accountability, and follow-through discipline • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sourcing activities simultaneously • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Commercially driven with a focus on value creation and margin optimisation Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Automotive Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience • 5–7 years of experience in vehicle procurement, automotive trading, or fleet acquisition • Experience operating in GCC or international automotive markets is strongly preferred • Demonstrated track record of successful vehicle sourcing and cost negotiation • Fluent in English (mandatory); Arabic or any other international language is a strong advantage Certifications • UAE driving license (required) • Familiarity with Dubai Customs portals and RTA Smart Services • Experience with auction platforms (Copart, ADESA, or regional equivalents) is an advantage
